On buses with feature 40142-04 8 D batteries, the positive battery cable may come in contact with the battery compartment door reinforcement when door is closed. Service Bulletin S14XG provides instructions for inspecting and, if needed, for rerouting the battery cables to prevent contact with the compartment door reinforcement.)

Rear Engine Exhaust Hanger Rod Fastener Torque

(Certain 2018 to 2020 (All American School Buses and Non-School Buses) Blue Bird has determined that the exhaust muffler hanger rods may not be torqued properly. As part of this service bulletin, it is necessary to check the torque on roads to ensure that are torqued in accordance with the provided instructions. If both exhaust hanger rod’s torque are correct, no further action is required.)

Air Conditioning Relay

(Certain 2015-2020 (Vision & All American School Buses and Non-School Buses) Blue Bird has determined that the CIT brand air conditioning relays should be replaced with Song Chuan brand relays (PN 00079077). Additionally the harness (PN 10023917) connected to the relay base should be inspected for any sign of damage and replaced, if necessary.)

Seat Back Foam Replacement

(All school bus seats utilizing HSM foam inside in the seat back and manufactured from January 2017 through August 2019 may require attention.)

Dual Fuse Block Assembly Inspection

(Certain model year 2021 Blue Bird Vision School Buses that were manufactured from December 12th, 2019 through March 7th, 2020 Certain buses built with SmartTrac Hydraulic Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) may have dual fuse block 10041668 assembled incorrectly, causing the ABS fault lamp to illuminate.)

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2013-2021 Micro Bird G5 school buses with electrical wiring, routed behind the driver's seat, that may have been damaged during rivet installation.

Gateway Module (GWM) Calibration, 6.8L 3V Ford Gasoline Engine

(Blue Bird Vision Buses equipped with the Ford Gasoline 6.8L 3V engine built between July 1,2019 and January 2, 2020. This recall affects buses with both 60 and 100-gallon gasoline fuel systems and does not apply to propane or compressed natural gas application.)
